.25acp hollowpoint -shoot or save?

Post by lurker »

i have a couple of .25acp pistols and naturally some ammo, too. most of it is win white box, but there's a box of speer gold dot hollowpoint. the hive mind says that .25 is so anemic that penetration is more important for self-defense than expansion. so, do i just treat it like cheap ammo and shoot it up, or save it for that special occasion to show that i really care? i don't expect to ever use a .25 as a carry piece.

Shoot. I would carry fmj if I was so inclined. "Nice and light...in a lady's handbag." :)

Shoot. It won't expand anyway.

Is it rare or collectible? If yes put aside. If not shoot away.
