I Have Now Burned My Membership Cards for both NRA and GOA

In that oasis, we can freely express our opinions on the latest events in the struggle for marriage equality and also the best self-defense rounds.

In a way, LGC has been our burgeoning Castro District where we are free to be ourselves. But like those other pioneers, we know a community without political voice will always be relegated to the shadows.

The Liberal Gun Owners Association (LGOA) was formed to provide us that voice.

Well, based on the post above, you seem to know things. Are you on FB as well?

In the upper right hand corner is their "affiliate" shopping link (Help SolderSmoke! Shop Amazon Starting Here:). It's different than the charity/'smile' thing Amazon also does that does require the c3 stuff.

We have a book store - do we get a piece of those sales? If so, that might be the same sort of affiliate thing.

(For the record - I hope to heaven we aren't forced to fund raise in front of Lowes in kilts - cause it'll scare people away even if I do shave my legs. :roflmao: )
The book store needs some love. Our missing merch Director could fix that.
Do we know if our bookstore is an Amazon affiliate? Do we get cash from those sales?

ETA...I hit the 'solder smoke' affiliate link and our bookstore link. Our bookstore does not appear to have the same link format as an affiliate. Also, our bookstore appears to be down.

ETA^2... Amazon's affiliate program is free. It applies to everything in the store. We don't have to curate a bookstore. All we need is an LGC account on Amazon so that they know where to send the check. Here's the place: https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/ I'll set it up if you'd like.

I signed up for our group, but I rarely visit FB. If you were to conduct discussions there, I could participate.

It’s sometimes easier.

I too have ditched my NRA card. I mailed it back to them with a hand written letter. I have a picture somewhere. Shall I post it?
