Interesting product- $82 and you have a compliant rifle with whatever evil features you want. Still going to dump hot and dirty gasses into the chamber, but still.

2Interesting, possibly something to get now for just-in-case they ever outlaw ARs. I saw another video where a guy used this on his 224 Valkyrie for 'precision' shooting. Don't know how well that would work, but it's an idea to look into.

3Lol. All the disadvantages of a gas system strapped to the barrel and none of the advantages. All because someone thinks they need a pistol grip to have a cool gun.
The Troy pump action or a dedicated gassless is definitely a better choice.

Re: AR-15 Bolt action conversion
4Yeah. I'd be far more prone to just threading the gas block or getting a barrel without a port. And a side charging upper.
Re: AR-15 Bolt action conversion
5It's a compliance device for future AW regs. For us Californians, it's not a bad thing for existing rifles. Certainly cheaper than reinvesting in the Troy (which is very cool).
Re: AR-15 Bolt action conversion
6Yep. When the the new governor bans all semi-autos, with the same bill that Brown vetoed in 2013, it's an option.

7I wonder if the changing composition of the CA9 and SCOTUS will give him pause. Nah. His hand is trembling in anticipation.shinzen wrote: Thu Feb 07, 2019 11:32 am Yep. When the the new governor bans all semi-autos, with the same bill that Brown vetoed in 2013, it's an option.
Re: AR-15 Bolt action conversion
8None at all. And when it gets struck down, he'll then use it to run his 2024 presidential campaign off of. We're going to miss Brown over the next several years.
