Range trip with a 1960 S&W 41

Post by sikacz »

This past Saturday I had a chance to out the new to Smith & Wesson Model 41. I’m not a great shot, passable might be an adequate term so apologies in advance. I shot some warm up shots and the decided to shoot a bit more at 7 yards. The first target is my first 10 of a sequence of 40.

Looks fun! I had a S&W 22A for a while, but never really enjoyed it. It was later production when they tried to smooth out the cocking serrations, and it was a PITA to use. And clean. :)

This one comes apart by pulling the trigger guard. Really simple.

It’s the gun. I felt like I was cheating the barrel is halfway to the target.

FUN!
 This gun is made for fun and a lot of it! The compensator just keeps that barrel point center. I’m going enjoy shooting it.
