This is a 2020 play. Seriously. The goal was to get EXTREME laws shut down by the courts and then claim they need to keep the Senate and POTUS in 2020 so they can replace RBG.

They never thought they had a chance to overturn Roe (they will blame John Roberts and other liberal judges). Just watch.

IMHO, this will backfire. However, they don't care about keeping the House. They just want to hold the Senate and POTUS to reshape the judiciary further.

Guns, Abortion, Immigration/Invasion. That is the GOP message for 2020.
