I just acquired a brand new Springfield Armory XDe 45 ACP for $469 + tax. Due to technical restraints I don't have any pictures but here is a video. it's a perfect everyday carry with a ton of stopping power.

Loved the Springer XDs in .45 but it slaps me so hard follow up shots were slow and lousy. Is the XDe easier on the recoil?

My first shot I was a little surprised by the recoil because I wasn't gripping tight enough. Then when I realized I almost had to strangle it with both hands I started getting better groups. I like the DA/SA. Once I got used to the trigger pull recoil was definitely manageable.VodoundaVinci wrote: Mon Oct 08, 2018 5:01 pm Loved the Springer XDs in .45 but it slaps me so hard follow up shots were slow and lousy. 4I like the sa/da feature, but it's a bit light, as in not massive, for the caliber for me.

My 9 flips a ton. High bore axis and light weight aren't doing it any favors.VodoundaVinci wrote: Mon Oct 08, 2018 5:01 pm Loved the Springer XDs in .45 but it slaps me so hard follow up shots were slow and lousy. Is the XDe easier on the recoil?

Its flatness makes it great for pocket carry, it slips in and sits like a smaller gun.
