Steel #7 or #7.5 shot for Dove

#1 Post by MetalSlugIV » Mon Jul 14, 2014 1:49 pm

I can't find steel #7 shot anywhere online. I can't use lead to hunt doves on Missouri Department of Conservation owned land.

What are some good 12 GA non-toxic loads for dove hunting in a gas operated semi-auto? Links would be appreciated!

GunBot.Net is everyone's friend:

Search - Shotgun - 12ga - 7shot

http://gunbot.net/ammo/shotgun/12ga/7-shot/

Looks like Natchez has tons of #7 Steel.

I assume you are wanting to dove hunt one of the 20 or so waterfowl ground like Ted Shanks or Grand Pass???

Otherwise, you can use lead.
