Copper rifled slugs for 20 Gauge?

#1 Post by drigeba » Sat Aug 30, 2014 11:17 am

Anyone know of someone who makes these? the majors don't appear to make them.. or i am just lazy..

Remington makes a sabot slug, but i need a rifled barrel and at $250.00 for a barrel, I will just get a mossberg!

Thanks!

Get some of the sabot slugs and test them in the smooth barrel. Rifled slugs don't really spin that much anyway.

As you work through finding a slug that works for your barrel you will be happy you have a 20 and not a 12.

I was wondering if there was some other reason than recoil....

But my brother had to have surgery on both shoulders from being an EMT in georgia, lifting super-sized folks into his rig.

Hey! what are we doing here on the computer!!! I gotta get some stuff done to build up brownie point to go hunting on monday.

10 days means we might be able to go to los altos the weekend on 12-13. after the gun show at cow palace...? or go bag doves on the last day of the season.

cheers,

Maybe before the gun show? I like to get started early at Los Altos. Early means no waiting for a trap. Starting the day with clay always makes for a good day.

What time do they open? pm me with a meeting time, maybe here in SF?

I have a box of clay targets waiting in the garage along with a hand slinger if that is needed. Targets were a lot less expensive that i thought. 11.00 for 90.. :yahoo:

Shall we calendar this?
