I admire his systematic approach on something that many would consider sheer folly. I have a 20 ga Stevens 311 that I have been wanting to get stamped and cut down. I don't mind spending the $200, but I can't make up my mind as to what length barrels I want to end up with. No where near that short though... Maybe 9 or 10 inches...

You can have one, just need to submit the paperwork, pay the tax, and wait a (probably long) while for the stamp saying that Mommy gives you permission. Just like an SBR or a suppressor as far as the Feds are concerned...
