I did years ago. My first was a Suzuki ts 125 when I was 9 years old, and like cars, I had owned dozens by the age of 30. I loves trials riding, had a couple Huskys just for that. Swore I would never drink and ride. One night, had my Honda 750F out for a ride, and drank 2 beers with friends. When I was leaving my best friend just got off driving a 16 hour coal run for Union Pacific. He was an engineer. He said ,hope in , I did. Well, after a case and a half of bud, he drops me off. I get on my bike for a victory lap through town (3 miles). As I rounded a turn on main Street the bike suddenly changed directions and I came to an abrupt stop. I had left the kickstand down and it caught on the pavement, spinning me around at 30 mph. I was so freaked I drove the whole 6 miles home at 5 mph. Next morning called my brother asking if he still was interested in my bikes. Made him a hell of a deal. That was around 38 years ago.
And while I have thought of getting another bike lately, I realize the increase of traffic, idiots on the road, and my lack of attention span and figure there are a lot easier and cheaper ways for me to kill myself.. Lol
But I do miss cruising the Mississippi bottoms on a sunny afternoon on a bike. You can drive the bluff roads by the river from Alton Illinois all the way to Paducah KY. Puttin along enjoying the views.
