Mad Magazine, 1968, has 2018 politics all figured out.

So many executive orders, so much twitter. What to do? Well, discuss it here for one...

Double Holy-Shit!
I used to have that issue--bought it on the newsstand because I ALWAYS bought Mad Magazine back then, every issue, after my brother stopped buying it.
And I remember that cartoon--the caption, but only vaguely the picture! Looks like a Jack Davis drawing.

Necro thread, but it makes more sense every month.
The border between civilization and savagery is porous and patrolled by opportunists. Resist fascism. Vote like your democracy depends on it.

I remember it, too! I was 13 and I bought Mad Magazine religiously. I think all the mags are gone but I have it on DVDs--the set MAD put out.
I learned a lot from them.

I agree. The political satire is just as relevant today as ever.

It appears that human nature pretty much stays the same.

If you fold it right, it turns into a picture of Trump wiping his ass with the constitution. ;)

And if you fold it left, do you see a picture of Lady Liberty wiping her ass with the Turnip?

I used to read my big bro's Mad Magazine as a kid. I do think it helped me gain a healthy skepticism of politicians and the wealthy.
