Just helped out a guy in the Bay Area, California with starting to reload

Dude bought a Lee Loadmaster as his first press. Now, while I wouldn't recommend any progressive press as a first press, that's what he bought, and he asked for some help. So, he called me up and we talked for a bit. I just got off the phone with him.

He is, of course, affected by that awful FFL-like process just to buy ammo, same as all other Californians who aren't the police. Fortunately, he has components. I explained to him that, fortunately, he can buy components from out of California and have them shipped to him. Same with going to, say, Nevada or Oregon and buying them. He told me that 9mm is going for 70 cents/round! Still!

This is yet another reason why it's so important to be set up for reloading. That's true even if you've got to pay panic prices at the moment.

This is just like 2009's component panic all over again, and yeah, I had to pay more. But I got started, and boy, has it paid off in the long run.
Got a link on primers. I keep searching and coming up dry.
