Kinda frivolous to spend all that money trying to terraform the red planet when we cannot seem to save our own planet from the destruction we are causing.

Yeah, lets go live on a planet incapable of sustaining life, sounds good in a sci-fi book but takes millions if not billions of years.

I agree on investigating whether or not it actually did sustain life at one time but I'd bet nothing more than microbes.

But the Republican way is you don't repair your house, you just move to a new one.

But is that true??

Clearly we have over 100 years of experience in warming up a planet; which is what Mars needs. Check.
How many years of experience does humanity have in cooling a planet? One, and it wasn't on purpose.

He also says that if frogs had wings they wouldn't bump their butts so much. But they don't, so they do.

His point is a fun one, though. designed to turn our human hunter gatherer origins on its head. Back in the day our band would occupy a region for a year or two, deplete the resources, then move fifty kliks down the valley. His point is that we've done run out of valleys, eh.
