Tragic event but if these two were truly "gun enthusiasts" wouldn't they clear and check the gun before handling it in general let alone in an office environment?

2Sad, but kind of predictable. When I'm carrying I have a rule that I will not show anyone my gun, not matter how much they ask. The less you manipulate a loaded gun, the lower your chance of an ND.

The only time mine come out of their holsters is when I'm planning on firing them or in the gun room on their way to the safe. I don't even unholster for the cleaning. They come out of the safe (having been cleared before going in), get cleared, then taken to a room where there is no ammunition.
Eventually I'll figure out this signature thing and decide what I want to put here.

5The surviving cousin lost his best friend, plus he'll probably be fired from his job. Stupid people with guns, like people who drive drunk and kill others.
