I have a Taurus M82 .38 SPL ( Brazillian corrections officer trade in) that I got from aimsurplus a few years back for the princely sum of $289that fills that role. Gun I’m not afraid to lock in my truck if I know I’m going to a “no CCW” place. But still decent enough size to CC. Can’t really go wrong with the K-frame clones. Certainly accurate enough at the ranges that I am.
